Six students will study in the area of Tourism in Estoril, Portugal

6 Scholarships awarded to study in the area of Tourism in Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, Portugal.
Last Friday, 9 September 2011 the contract agreement is signed between the scholarships awardees and the National Director of Tourism presented by Mr. Jose Quintas, at the presence of H.E. Minister of Tourism, Commerce and Industry, Mr. Gil da Costa Alves and the awardees were accompanied by families in the meeting room at 10.30am.
The scholarship programme is the realization of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between The Ministry of Tourism, Commerce and Industry and the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril in 2010.
Both parties agreed to support financially. The Ministry of Tourism, Commerce and Industry is responsible for return tickets, travel insurance, visa (Portugal and Indonesia), airport tax, and pocket money every month. The Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril is responsible for establishments, school fees and food allowance.
There were 105 applicants applied for the scholarships, 23 applicants passed documents selection. After Tourism knowledge and interview tests, 6 applicants were eligible to study Tourism in Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, Portugal. The area of study programmes are Entertainment of Nature-based Tourism and Adventure, Tourism Nautical, and Management of Tourist Entertainment. DNT-MTCI
